A lot of people are bashing Noodles on every and I'm not sure why. Maybe they went in with false pretenses but it's a fast casual noodle joint. What did you expect? We love noodles, their food is good, lots of options, great staff, and good prices. Try the Mac and cheese or the whole wheat Tuscan linguine. I'm also a sucker for the coke machine. Def a fav in our house.

It was a cold night, I got the last parking spot and I felt chilled walking in! I was exhausted and looked up at the long menu and new I wasn't going to read it and thought, "man why did I try someplace new tonight?" Next thing I know I hear a pleasant, "Hello, Can I Help Ya?" My response, "Yeah, tell me what I should eat tonight!" She looked at me and said, "Are you up for noodles?" The nice young lady then went on to recommend the Japanese Pen Noodles. Which I ordered, added chicken, a Caesar salad, and a drink. I was handed my drink glass and went on to find one of my favorite things, a million option soda dispenser! I love those. I mixed up a diet vanilla cherry coke and pick a seat near the window. My food came out shortly and the presentation was pleasing. I grabbed my chop sticks and dug in! The food tasted great. The Japanese Pan Noodles were a spicy and the chicken was tasty. The Caesar salad was a little small but for under $13 it was a nice little meal. I really like the place and will stop back in. I walked out a little less tired and a little more happy. Can't beat that!

Manager overheard conversation of an extraordinarily bad day and went out of her way to provide great service. Great food. Great staff.

Pretty good food and portions for the price. Just wish there was more meat added when you get it added to the meal.

Nice menu for noodles and sandwiches. I loved tomato basil soup. Also the idea if small and regular option gives u to chose two kind of them. Its not pricey at all unless u keep on adding.meat to it.

Honestly, have fun shoveling carbs and prepackaged frozen slop down your throats. This place is abhorrent and I would avoid at all costs.

Never disappointed in Noodles! Yummy food, LOTS of variety, and a super friendly staff! I'm a fan of the BBQ pork Mac & Cheese or the Pad Thai. I love that they are always happy to make subsitutions, etc to really personalize your meal. Keep in mind this is a fast food restaurant, so don't expect it to be something it is not. If I have to choose a quick lunch or dinner, I'd choose Noodles over ANY other fast food choice in the area. PS-Don't forget to grab a rice krispie treat there, too. But share with a friend, they are HUGE!

HOW can this possibly have an average rating of three stars!??? I am so excited and impressed by this place-wish I'd thought of the concept myself! Many varieties of pastas made to order--kind of the best of the best of different cuisines. The Bangkok curry with pork is absolutely fantastic. And I think the prices are decent for the quality of food.

"Eek" is about right. I tried the Pad Thai against my better judgment. I've never had any luck with fast-food Thai, and this one was near the bottom of the barrel. The fresh sprouts and lime wedges were unable to make up for the utter lack of taste. I asked for it to be spicy, and the cook just drizzled sriracha on top before serving it. The shrimp were overcooked and gummy, and the noodles were too heavy. I definitely will not be back, despite the exceptionally friendly service.

Food had hair in it. A profuse sorry from the waitress, and though she did bring a new one fairly quickly, I was turned off enough to just want a refund, which didn't happen. Not enough employees at this location. We were forced to sit at a dirty ( the only open) table for almost 10 minutes until our waitress brought our food and noticed there was still garbage there. I want to like this place so much, but after two times of being there in chaos and the recent addition to my food, I just can't get a ticket for this train.

Place is horrible, tasteless overpriced ramen noodles. Portions are so small even the large size was pitiful. Best thing about the place is the flavored soda machine.

Horrible!! Would never go back. Thought we'd try this as it is a new place. The menu was what I expected, and felt the prices were reasonable, however the place was a complete mess. I can only imagine the number of health code violations going on. There were only 4 other people dining while we were there, but 90% of the tables hadn't been bussed, leaving them with dirty dishes and uneaten food. The floor contained just as much uneaten food. We were there for an hour while the staff of 5 stood back behind the counter and just talked among themselves. When I asked to speak to the manager at the end of the meal, he apologized and said it was his fault. Said they were busy and people had called off. Had no explanation for the 5 of them not busing tables in the hour we were there when no one else had even come in. Not really sure he was even the manager? Not only will I never go back, I will be reporting them to the health department. Such a shame. With better management, it probably could be a nice place.

Food was fresh & service was fast. Of course we were here on a Monday at 3pm ( only 2 other people here). So it had better be fast. Will try it again!!!

Spicy Tia bowl all the way!! I am stuck on this dish. If you think you want something spicy go for it and get an extra side of flat bread to soak up the delicious broth.

We had a better experience here this time than last. The food was much better - though I did avoid my previous selections. I would have liked to see them provide a takeout cup for our drink instead of a plastic one. Everyone loves to take a drink for the road - especially with those new coke machines. The Indonesian peanut sauté is worth a try if your stopping by. The Mac and cheese was decent as well. I still wasn't blown away here with the food but it is a possible lunch stop in the future as an alternative to other fast food options.

I'm really shocked by the negative reviews on here. I'm a huge fan of this place for lunch or a quick dinner! I love the thai noodle soup, it has tons of flavor. I also really enjoy their spicy Caesar sandwich, the med sandwich, the med salad, and the basil pesto noodles with chicken. The spicy med dressing is fantastic and I really enjoy the dressing they use on their house salads as well. The Bangkok curry is also a huge hit with me. I honestly haven't ever had anything I haven't enjoyed! They run specials every season and I've really enjoyed them each time I've tried one. The prices are fantastic for what you get and I love that I can tell what each veggie is in my noodles or sandwiches. The staff is always very friendly and they have Rice Krispie treats that are as big as you head. Be advised that this place is normally packed at lunch time, so if you are doing takeout you may want to call ahead!

Julie is excited that Noodles & Company has arrived in Cranberry Township! BJ is only a tag along. We arrived around 8 pm on a recent week night. And were very surprised to find the place more than half full. Don't your little kiddies have to go to school tomorrow morning? Shouldn't you be home helping with their homework? This is a fast food restaurant. People keep that in mind. It is not a gourmet restaurant or fine dining. Think of this when you visit. You order at the counter, make your selection. You can chose from Asian type noodles, Mediterranean and good old American. Some of the choices include Penna Rosa, Whole GrainTuscan Linguine, Japanese Pan Noodles, Thai Curry Soup, Truffle Mac, Steak Stroganoff and Grilled Chicken Caesar. Lots more choices than just a bowl of noodles. Also, you can customize your selection by adding your choice of steak, meatballs, shrimp, chicken breast or tofu. The latest and greatest meat addition is pork. Another plus is you can chose your size, which is great because not one size feeds all. For a dollar more, you can "Green It Up" or "Soup It Up", which is great. Me and BJ kept it simple. He got Pad Thai with rice noodle, stir-fried with fresh carrots, cabbage, cilantro sprouts, sweet chile, and peanuts, He liked his dish. Best of all was his $1 bowl of Thai curry soup. I enjoyed picking the carrots out of his Pad Thai. For my dish, I got the small sized Wisconsin Mac & Cheese for $4.20. It was the perfect size for me, possibly because I devoured most of BJ's carrots. If I had any complaint, I think the dish could have benefited from a bit more cheese. We really liked that our food was brought to our table in real dishes with real knives and forks. We really liked all the menu choices here and I am sure it's going to take us awhile to try all of them. It's nice because you can also order online for quick and easy take out.

I really wanted to like this place. We've found some really fun and flavorful Noodle restaurants over the years - mostly little hole in the walls that blew us away with depth of flavor, way too much food & happy bellies. I knew Noodles & Company was more fast food and after checking their menu online discovered it was not only Asian, which was what I expected, but Mediterranean and also American mac & cheese and spaghetti. It's fast food and trying to appeal to the masses - I get it. We both decided to try the Indonesian Peanut Sauté with chicken as takeout for dinner. The counter gal told us we could add the small Thai Curry Soup to our dinners for $1 more each & we said absolutely. Who could turn that down? The soup was pretty tasty with lots of noodles, mushrooms & veggies in a a coconut curry broth. Definitely worth $1 and the entire reason they got star #2. The Indonesian Peanut Sauté tasted like last nights leftovers that had absorbed every drop of sauce in the fridge overnight & then got tossed into the microwave. It was a shame because there was good spice, heat and flavor in those sauce deprived, dry noodles. If we had eaten in the restaurant, we could have at least asked for more sauce. Not an option with takeout. All in all, just another chain restaurant in Cranberry that we probably won't go into again. There's a whole cluster of those along Route 228 these days.

Well, just a couple of visits. Service excellent, layout of the facility, fine, access perfect and cleanliness fine. But there were no classical "noodle ramen" at all and the Japanese noodle dish ... just didn't work for me. They may be trying but there are many "noodle" places in Pittsburgh that have better, non fast food, noodle. f8 and be there.

Another infestation of a fast food chain into the over loaded Cranberry area, Noodles & Company at least held the initial promise of being a little different - not necessarily welcomed like a real restaurant but more like a curiosity. And so it was that I let my piqued interest lead me to at least try it. I've tried many noodle type restaurants (none of which were chains) including Lulu's noodles in Oakland (which is quite good) and others in my travels and I generally like them. Regrettably, this doesn't fit into that category. The concept is sort of start with a one price bowl of noodles and add meat/shrimp/tofu as you see fit. You can start with Japanese Pan noodles, Pad Thai, Curry, or Indonesian. Oddly enough you can also go Mediterranean or American and get penne, linguine, spaghetti, or mac and cheese - all with the same concept of adding on at extra cost. With such a divergent menu, it's a place looking for an identity. I mean, mac and cheese or Pad Thai? You can pretty much be assured that neither will be that good. To be fair, I only tried the Thai Curry soup (for a $1 adder) and the Indonesian Peanut Sauté. It was listed as having a spicy peanut sauce but was served dry and without any indication it had gotten within a few feet of any sauce. It reminded me of my old college roommate who used to find leftover pasta on the stove in a pot he let sit for days and would eat it when he felt the urge - dry, old, and had to be chiseled from the bottom of the pot. This wasn't THAT bad but the memories kicked in. On a positive note, if you're hungry and only looking to fill your belly and do it cheaply, this might be the place for you. You get a good portion size so on that basis alone I'll be generous and give it two stars. But be forewarned, you have to not be too concerned about your food having those "extras" like taste or flavor. Me? I prefer my meals to have flavor. Fast food rarely fills that bill. This place is another disappointing entry into an already overcrowded chain environment. Where are the real restaurants?

After eating my Caesar salad, found a bug in my plate! Showed it to personnel, no response, not even an apology! Just took the plate and walked away! Customer service at it's best?! I so like Noodles & Co., will just stick to the one in Wexford, PA always friendly there!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
